Dom visited our St Charles Veterans Center last year and became a regular fixture, often sharing with us his life stories of his WWII experiences at Normandy, in the Battle of the Bulge and his account of his harrowing imprisonment escape. He brought his uniform and patiently and passionately explained each piece of it. We began a "living histories" project last summer, and although the recording was not of great quality, I believe we may have him on video. I will check with Ron Onesti. We wanted to re-record, but he injured his shoulder and we postponed the recording. He was also going to speak to the historic Chicago DAR Chapter One. We had to postpone that as well. If I can retrieve the video, it will be an addition to our archives that will potentially inform and enrich the lives of our communities for the next generations and we will share it with your family, along with several photos I know I do have. Where can we mail those items? We are: St. Charles Veterans Center 311 N. 2nd Street St. Charles, Il 60174 630-402-1919 my direct line. Dom and I went out to dinner last June, and I so enjoyed his company! I will miss him dearly, as will our Vets. Dom was the embodiment of courage and character. We are all better, for having known him. My sincerest condolences to your family. May God's assurances be a blessing to you all now and always. Vanessa

Uncle Dom will be truly missed. He was such a leader and inspiration in the family, always taking care of others and finding ways to make us all smile. I know he'll be taking care of his wife and sisters in Heaven again. I hope Grandma Mary welcomed him with a poundcake. Sending deepest sympathies and prayers for comfort. I wish we could be there with you to celebrate Uncle Dom's beautiful life and legacy.

I never met Mr. Errichiello, but I worked with two of his children. They are wonderful people, who you can tell were raised by a very special man. My heart goes out to his family, I hope your memories will be comforting to you as time passes.

Dad, I am so grateful to be apart of your family, you taught me to be kind, caring, compassionate of what you do, mindful of others, and the list goes on. You are a role model, a leader, and most important you always opened your door wide open and greeted you, conversed with you, in other words you went out of your way to put others first, you made us feel so good. Then you taught us to give, help out, work as as team, work as as a family to get things accomplished, you ALWAYS were there for us no matter the what the size or scope of the task at hand. Well Dad, all this has paid off, look at the family you and Mommy created, each and every one of us is so blessed to have a father, and Papa like you! Until we meet again, we love you! Your son (in law) Steve
