Donald J. Bauer, 66 of Glendale Heights. Husband of 48 years to Sharon (nee: Mikes) Bauer. Father of Donna (nee: Bauer) Flores, Christine (nee:Bauer) Tony Ratajczyk. Grandfather of Nicole, Brandon, Danielle, Jordan, Brianna, Giavanni, Kianna, Taylor and Tiffany. Great Grandfather of Janiah and Jayden. Preceded in death by parents Ray and Dorothy (Burke) Bauer. Brothers Raymond Jr., David, Jeffery and Jamie. Brother of Ronald, Michael and John. Sister Debbie (Bauer) Bengsten and many nephews and nieces.

Have been missing you seems like forever. Will always treasure our days together. The good and the bad. Time does not stand still. Love it for now. Tomorrow may never come. With all my heart and soul missing you. We will be together again. Until then I miss you.

It has been almost 2 weeks now. People say it will get easier. I'm sure it will but not now. Just want to be able to touch you and hold you. Days are long nights longer. It feels so unreal that your gone pops! Not a second doesn't go by that I'm not thinking of you. You were the best father any girl could ask for! You always made sure we never went without- you were the rock of our family! I will always love you and I'll always forever carry you in my heart and in my soul! I miss you pops! You will always be missed! Love your Little D.
