Elizabeth Dembowski

Elizabeth (Betty) J. Dembowski, 86, of Elmwood Park, IL passed away peacefully on April 3, 2022, surrounded by members of her family. Betty worked at Cotter & Company for most of her working life and retired in the early 1990’s. She enjoyed bowling, coffee with friends/relatives and spending time with her family. Betty will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Betty was predeceased by her husband, Stanley, and her brothers and sister; George, Leonard, Ray, Eddie, Kenneth and Lorraine. She is survived by her children Larry (Donna), Theresa (Ron), Ken (Caroll), John, Dave (Deb) and Mike (Eileen) along with her 10 grandchildren; David(Amanda), Edward, Patrick(Kelly), Timothy, Jeremy, Justin, Stephen, Robbie(Ryan), Kasie, and Mike and her 7 great grandchildren; Mason, Kennedy, Colton, Olivia, Penelope, Isla and Ezra. We request all of Betty’s loved ones to join us for visitation from 9-11 am on Saturday, April 9th at Saleno’s Galewood Chapel in Chicago followed by a funeral mass celebrating her beautiful life at St Francis Borgia’s at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, Betty asked that donations be made to PAWS Chicago or Pets Partners, an animal therapy program, because she loved spending time with dogs, especially Ripley and Harper who came to visit and pray with her many times.
