Passed away June 2,2022 in Blooomingdale,IL She was 89 yrs old.
Born December 29,1932 in Alabama to David & Trischel Lake (née Hubbard) Was married to the late Reinhold Day for 40yrs.
Jean was an avid crocheter she love crocheting gifts for everyone. At one point the whole side of her living room was filled with crocheted animals she had made and blankets and all different things she could think of.
Survivors include her sister Mary Simmons, son Johnny and wife Mary Smith, grandchildren Jack and wife Brooke Smith, Kelly Smith, Jaynie Smith and great grandchildren River Smith and Kai Smith.
Nieces & Nephews Fayth & Tim Enright, Nancy Lopez, Warren & Sandy Day, Jim & Kim Day and the late Allen & Theresa Day and the late Donna & John Downing. And many Great nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Aunt Jean was an amazing woman. She will be very missed. I am grateful for all the time I had with her and Uncle Ron. Prayers to everyone in the family.
