Filippo “Phil” Sgaramella; Beloved and Devoted Husband of Stella nee: Ferrara, for almost 50 years. Devoted father Filomena “Mayna” (Nick) Imperatrice and Anna Maria (Vincenzo) Rubino; Adored Nonno of Gianna, Nicole, Luca, Natalia and Giuseppe; Dear brother of Maria (Geacomo) Biancofiore, Antonio (Grace), Sgaramella, Rosa (the late Giuseppe) D’Argento and the late Giuseppe (Bina) Sqaramella; Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Filippo passed on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the age 83, following an extended illness. Our hearts are broken, and we hold tight to his memory. Filippo is well known to his family for his great stories that explained life lessons to be learned. He always had a great smile on his face and knew how to make people laugh. His work ethic and determination was measured by his calloused hands. His strength and commitment to is family made his family who they are today. Filippo will be loved and remembered forever.
