We have known each other since 1975 when we worked together at Cook County Hospital. Lynette was a little pretty girl being dragged in our picket line one winter time. Yes, that is how Lina was, strong willed, smart and a loving person. We lost contact for a while due to our families, change of jobs and moving away from the city. Our path had crossed again when we met in Church at St. John the Evangelist in Streamwood. She was just recovering from chemotherapy. That was about 3 years ago. We have been very close ever since, she joined our Clare Oaks Bible Study Group. During this time, I came to know who she really was. Very caring person, always thinking of others first before herself. We travelled several times out of state sometimes planned but oftentimes just impromptu! She was very smart, well liked by everyone. As sick as she was, she managed to entertain us , waited on us at their home. She is full of life and our group will not be the same without her. We love her so dearly, we missed her but one thing is for sure: she will never be forgotten WE LOVE YOU LINA, REST IN PEACE.
