Recipient of the Silver Star while serving with the Greek Expeditionary Force in the Korean War. Visitation and funeral service will be private. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of George. My wife and I have moved to the building in 1999, and George and Dianna became more than neighbors. His parking spot was across from us, and when we met he always had a joke or tale to tell. I have spent many hours in his home listening to his extraordinary life. With this pandemic it was impossible to visit, but as I delivered his mail, he always had time to pass on something as a joke or passing thought. I will miss our conversations and his jovial outlook at life. Goodbye my friend! Welcome to your next life!
