We were so sorry to hear of this loss. Our hearts go out to all of the families, especially Aunt Donna, Dessi and Scotty. One thing that was always present over the years when seeing Geri and the families, was a sense of humor! Much love to all of you during this difficult time. A donation was made in honor of Geri to The Humane Society. Love, Jenna, Japes, Willow & Chewie

Ger, I remember sitting in your and Ronny’s basement in Cicero , and Ronny was timing something and I said “ What are you doing ?”He said I’m timing contractions ! And I quietly said Ok, I’m outta here! And Veronica was born. Years of fun and love and I’ll sure miss you when you used to yell at Ronny and I as we wrecked each other’s cars ! Love you Ger! Scotty

Many try to bring the world and their loved ones the happiness and laughter we all need, but Auntie Geri did it naturally and selflessly. And better. Her silly and self-deprecating sense of humor was aimed at doing whatever it took to inject laughter and joy into others’ lives and each family gathering, and her smile brightened every room. She was caring, kind, and took an interest in your life. She welcomed with open arms new faces to the family and especially loved kids. We loved her and will continue to, always, and as mourning eases we will laugh and smile at countless great memories she gave us that will live on with her.

How blessed I was to know this generous lady as my 2nd mother. I am grateful to my folks for moving to Milford Court, just 2 doors down from you. I was a regular at your house as your Mom let me practically live there! She was so fun and I learned so much from her over the many years. Then she blessed and embraced my own husband and children. I am so thankful for her beautiful life. Her legacy of love and beauty in all things will carry us on. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I look forward to when we get to laugh and hug and kiss again, Smitty Will the circle be unbroken By and by, Lord, by and by There's a better home awaiting In the sky, Lord, in the sky

Auntie Ger was such a presence in the lives of my husband and myself. Her warmth, sense of humor, and wonderful nature were infectious. She was Family to me from the moment she entered mine, and to my husband, Pat, from the very first time they were introduced. He has shared multiple times how her warmth transcended any differences between people. She was a leader by example, and we embraced her example of love. There wasn't a time Aunt Geri failed to make us feel loved. This was subsequently felt by my children and by my children's children. It's no wonder my heart is full, both of happiness and sadness. I am happy her suffering here ended, happy for the beauty she left here in the forms of people (her family) and in qualities that don't expire. I am sad for obvious reasons: my family and I miss her and will continue to miss her presence. I pray the Lord Himself lets her know, again, the Love we have for her. May she rest in His eternal arms.

So sorry to hear the news about your mom. I'll always remember her as a feisty woman who knew how to keep us boys (and my dad!) on Milford Court in line! Please know that you are in all of the Campbells thoughts and prayers.

Geri always treated me like family which meant being greeted with a big smile and hug. Her presence at any gathering always made the occasion a happier and more fun place to be. Her children and grandchildren are reflections of her good-natured heart which is a legacy that we all wish we could leave. Her absence will be a great loss to me and those who had the good fortune to know her. May she rest in peace in God's arms.

In loving memory of our Auntie Geri; who's kindness and goofy sense of humor always made us smile and made our house a warm and wonderful place. That chair in the kitchen will feel really empty without you, Aunt Ger. We promise to make the gavadeels the way you like them at Christmas, to continue to harass Uncle Ronnie (Dessi will take care of that), and to always remember you and the lessons you taught us- never to take ourselves too seriously and love each other fiercely. But mostly, to harass Uncle Ronnie. Love, Donna, Scotty, Katy, and Dessi PS: A donation has been made by the family in your name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital

I will always smile when I think of my Auntie Geri. She was always smiling and laughing. I think she always saw life as a gift and she made every moment a celebration! Cheers to a beautiful lady - inside and out. I will miss her and the bright spot she brought to all of our lives. My sincere love and sympathy to the Lunetta family, Veronica, Vicki and Uncle Ron. She will never be forgotten.
