I sailed for two years on Mirage. We both worked the Bow. Jim was always a joy to work with. Sailing is a team sport and Jim was a great team member. John Krueger

I was so saddened to hear the horrible news of Jim’s passing. He was a great teammate and a fun loving friend. I would call Jim selfless. He was always putting other people’s needs ahead of his own and that is one of the great attributes of a great teammate. His teammates and I always ribbed (with great affection) Jim about his never-ending “costume” changes during our races. He would change several times as the conditions became cooler or wetter or vice-versa. He will be sorely missed not only for his contribution of talent to the team but for his always friendly and upbeat spirit. Fair winds my friend. Godspeed!

I am sorry to hear of the great loss of losing Jim. He was a wonderful man to know and work with. I was lucky to work in the barroom at ORD with this wonderful man. He was a great help being a coworker. He also had a great sense of humor which you need working early morning hours-5am. May he rest in peace without any demons. My profound sympathies to his family. Sincerely, Margaret Summers-Kasak

Jim worked with my Dad, Tom Pugh, as a skycap for Northwest/Delta Airlines for many, many years. I was saddened to hear of his passing. He was always kind to my family when we passed through while traveling out of O'Hare.

Dan worked with Jim at Oak Industries in Crystal Lake and I met Jim & Johnnie when I started dating Dan in 1978. Jim was an awesome person to know. He loved life, motorcycles & his children. We unfortunately lost touch with him & Johnnie after we moved to Florida. We were devastated to hear of his passing. Johnnie, James, Marc, Brian & Nicole please known that you all are in our thoughts & prayers. God Bless All of you.

I worked with Jim wayyy back in the late 70's in the plating department at Oak Industries in Crystal Lake. I always thought he was the coolest guy, full of fun and good humor. He was very easy going, a natural leader and he was held in high esteem by his coworkers. He and Jonnie were a fun couple. I remember his fondness for motorcycles and muscle cars, and the *occasional* party! I knew Jim for only a year or two but as you go through life you meet a lot of people but only a few who leave an indelible impression on you and he was one of these. I was surprised and saddened by hearing of his passing, and I am very sorry for the loss to his family and friends.

I am Jimmie’s cousin. I was a consultant for 5 years and traveled weekly. I used to go to the airport an hour early every week to visit with him no matter what airline I was flying. He loved his job and family. He always showed such kindness to his customers and went out of his way to help them.

To the Family of our friend, Jim Senne: I was a former co-worker of Jim's at O'hare Airport-NW/DL. He was GREAT skycap who always was always at-the-ready to assist me ( a customer service supr.) as well as other employees, and customers in need. He was smart, funny and such a pleasure to know. May he rest in God's arms knowing that he did a GREAT job on earth. Sincerely, Jan Lazore-Soldano Schaumburg, IL
