James P. Ryan of Glendale Heights, passed away on 2/7/2022. Loving husband of the late Margaret nee Jacobsen. Loving dad of Catherine (Robert) Wahby and Patrick (Kelly) Ryan. Loving son of the late James and Nellie Ryan. Dear brother of Maureen “Cupie” (Tim) Portal, Richard (Nancy) Ryan, Patricia (William) Holland and the late Nancy (Edward) McQuillan. Loving grandpa of Christopher, Kaitlyn, Kelsey, MacKenzie and Patrick. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday Feb. 14 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St., Roselle. Funeral Tuesday 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Matthew Church in Glendale Heights for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Assumption Cemetery. May your mom and dad finally rest in peace and have no more pain. They had a good life and were loving parents. Marge and Jim were part of my mom and dad's wedding party Now all 4 of them can share memories of growing up in chicago in heaven . I last saw your mom and dad at my mom's 75th birthday party and a yr later she passed away 2016. (Donna Goodwin) and John Goodwin died 1989. They cane so so nany of our family functions.Your parents always had a smile on their face and a great sense of humor. Just genuine humble and humanitarian people. I WILL DEFINITELY MISS THEM . We are so very sorry for the loss of both of your parents. So many dear memories of working St Matthews bingo with Jim. May thinking of them both always being a smile to your faces.
