Joan (Gullo) Addante, born May 14, 1933 in Chicago, IL, a longtime resident of
Addison, passed away June 16, 2023 after a lengthy illness. She lived to the ripe
old age of 90. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry.
She was the loving mother of Dawn Weber, Michelle (James) Jaroch, and Louis
Addante. Beloved grandmother of 9: Karl (Lisa), Jonathan, Kristen (Aron), Adrienne (Brian),
Kari (Tim), Amy (Michael), Kyle, Nick (Maddie) and Michael. Cherished Nana of 8: Anna Marie, Camille, Francesca Rae, Gianna, Fiona, Enzo, Colton, and Lars. Devoted daughter to her parents, Joseph and Peggy Gullo and sister to Antoinette (Salvatore) Arizzi, Marie (Joseph) Iannino, Gloria (William) Isdell, Frances (Lawrence) Haveman, Raphaela, and Frank. Joan, also known as; Mom, Gram and Nana will be best remembered for her Sunday dinners of pasta, meatballs/sausage and a big salad with cheesecake and French silk pie for dessert. She will also be remembered for marathon shopping
trips and the big, never-ending birthday bag. The only thing that exceeded her generosity was her love of family. She will be missed immensely.
