I had the pleasure of knowing and working with John for somewhere close to 15 years. He was always a kind and positive soul. We shared a liking for the reality tv show, “Big Brother” and ate lunch together at times. My condolences go out to his family. He was a great friend and will be missed by so many. May he rest in eternal peace.

Lynn, I remember every time you spoke of John, you lit up with great pride! I am so sorry to hear of his passing, this must be the hardest thing you and Tom will have to experience on this earth. May John rest in the presence of God, and may that thought bring you comfort. Love, Karen

May John rest in peace! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It was a joy to work and know John! Your son was such a beautiful presence in this world. His gentle soul has moved on, but he will always be with you.... There are no right words to erase the pain you feel. My heart goes out to you and your family. He will be greatly missed, and never forgotten.

John was a great friend to have. I remember him from St. Matthew's. He would always say hello to me in the hallways or during recess. Even through Driscoll he was a kind caring individual and will be missed greatly. Thoughts, prayers, and positivity go out to the Figiel family.

Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your son, John, a gentle and loving man, a friend to all. This is always such a difficult road to travel. Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers. While there is never a good time to lose a loved one, the season of Advent couldn't be a more perfect time to be called "home" to spend Christmas with our Lord. We were truly blessed to have John in our lives for so many years. May the loving arms of the angels and of all of those in your family who have passed before and with whom John is now reunited welcome him into God's Heavenly Home. May the Lord Himself greet John with "Well done, my good and faithful servant". May our good Lord Bless you and comfort you Today, Tomorrow and Forever Hold You In The Palm of His Hands. " Love you guys, The Gotos, Larry & Darlene

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of John. Gary served on the library board and knew Lynn, and we are both friends of John's godmother/ aunt Mary and her husband, Norm. Although living out of state, our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May he rest in peace in a better place.
