I recall visiting Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Harold in Maywood, when they lived above her mom and dad. We moved there after her mom and dad moved, and she and Uncle Harold moved to the house they had built in Medinah. In fact, I recall exploring the house with Herb while it was under construction. Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Harold and then Kris spent all of the New Year's Days of most of my life with my family. That tradition carried on after my dad and Uncle Harold had passed. Heart out to all of you.

Kristen & Kevin, you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Just know that even in the most trying times you did everything you could to provide Aunt Marilyn with the best quality of life possible as she progressed through her various stages of life. I will always remember how shocked and happy she was when you surprised her at her 90th birthday with a celebration luncheon at Medinah Country Club with many family members and lots of guests. She is now at rest with Uncle Harold, her mother and father and my dad all side by side, but even closer in heaven. God Bless and I know she is at peace.

Kristen, Kevin and family, I am so sorry to hear the loss of your Mother. May you keep your memories of her close to your heart and find peace that she is in her heavenly home with your father. She was a lovely lady!

Marilyn was a wonderful thoughtful person. We met at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Our friendship grew as our children attended Trinity School. When we had a new baby she offered to pick up Eric, our kindergarten student, every morning so I did not have to take the baby out on those cold mornings of January. This became a carpool for another 7 years. We shared fun moments at community events. I will always be thankful for Marilyn a great friend through the years.

My Dear Aunt Marilyn, May you R.I.P. say Hi to all my family that you will soon be seeing again. Do not have to much fun with them, better yet have a lot of fun.
