Mickey, you were always one of my dearest uncles. I greatly admired you as a pragmatic and no-nonsense realist. You were an unselfish protector who knew what mattered most - family - always there for me in my greatest time of need. I wish we had more time with you on this earth, but I believe I will see you again. I know you have been graciously welcomed by your beloved wife, mom, sisters, and brothers. And I am certain your oldest sister has been overjoyed to be with you again just as she had been with you from your first moment of life. I love you. I am heartbroken for your loss, Kelly, because I know losing a parent is an overwhelming and excruciating pain. Stay strong and remember that they are still with you, guarding you and your boys. God bless you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mick, Jack Keegan, and myself were very close for most of our teenage years and before. Before we were old enough to drive, we walked all over Bellwood. Too the pool, to the fruit stand, to the Cozy restaurant. We played baseball, softball, football together and had many good times together. Those days are some of my favorite memories. Naturally we saw each other once in a while, as we all were trying to make a living, and raise a family. I'll miss you a lot old pal. Now there is no more pain and suffering, rest in peace.
