I am so sorry for your loss...I loved him like a father. I was blessed by him in so many ways. He was a perfect grandfather to our five kids. He always came to their sports games, cheerleading, and anything else he could. In the summers, Grandma and Grandpa Knapp had a cottage up north that we would all bundle up into our cars and drive to for a week. He taught our kids how to fish, enjoy nature, and play board games. We had no tv, cable, Iphones, etc. so outdoors was it! Our favorite games to play even when the kids got older were skip-bo and sequence. He had lots of roses in his backyard, and helped me plant 66 roses in our yard!!!! He was also into vegetables and raspberries. When CEdison had their flower and vegetable shows, he would always bring home so many ribbons including best of show, 1st place, and numerous 2nd and 3rd places. He is now in heaven with our son, Michael, and if there is a garden up there, Mike and him are making it beautiful!!!! Love you!
