When I think of my life, I had a blast (which made me think of a silly jet analogy)! I thank my husband, Greg, for being my rocket fuel, my girls, Kendall and Krisanna, who were my jet engines, my sons in law, Derek Freeman and Brett Blasberg, who came in as strong stabilizers, my grandchildren, Jady and Jamie Freeman, who were my actual stars, and our new grand-baby Blasberg, who is the first stop in a whole new adventure.

I want to thank my siblings, Carolyn Godman, Claudia and Ted Mazola, Susie and George (deceased) Sulaiman, and Paul Campeol, for always being by my side at the important times in life, before and after Mom and Dad passed, Rosemarie and William (Geno) Campeol.

To my in-laws, Mark and Farrish Sharon; Pam and Gus Johannes, thank you for always making me feel like the best kind of out law and a real member of the family.

A big hug and kiss to my nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Our times together were some of the most fun I’ve ever had. Keep up the family vacations, all of you!

A big thank you to all my friends who were the best crew ever. You were all a great support group that always knew how to help me find laughter and light, all while throwing rocks and fighting the good fight.

Shari was strong independent woman who passed her CPA exams immediately after a great college experience and went on to hold a strong career for forty years. She was a wife that made life worth living for over 41 years, a gracious mother of two for 35 years, and a powerhouse for all 63 years.

She loved deeply with faith and soul, took time to enjoy the little things, traveled as much as she could, and held strong to her convictions. She is loved by many, cherished by a ton, and will be forgotten by none.

Visitation Monday 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels 450 W. Lake St. Roselle, IL. 60172 (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd.) Funeral Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northern Illinois Food Bank.

One request from Shari is that you bring a photo with a story written on the back of it. This can be from a meal you shared or an adventure you had. Please place it on one of the boards as you stop by.

If you cannot bring one or are unable to attend this visitation, please know we would still love your photos and stories! We have set up an email account for this: Sharon2stories@gmail.com

We will be placing these photos and stories in a book for the family to enjoy for years to come.
