As a kid I just called him Mr. K. He was my best friend Matt's father, and I always thought he was pretty cool. He told jokes, and was full of great stories. He was a real character. And a great one at that. He was like a second father to me. And between him and my father, I learned many life lessons, which helped shape me to become the man I am today. I was over at the Kouchoukos residence so much as a kid I'm sure they wondered when I was moving in. I knew their neighbors, I went to his Knights of Columbus pizza parties at Connie's pizza, I even did a few late night runs to White Castle when bribed… He taught me how to golf, said I should learn it for business and networking. To this day I still golf, and in the future will always think of him when I do. I learned to ski from him taking me along with his family. He brought us to the Young Entrepreneurs conference, and at the time I had no idea what that even meant, but it ignited a spark in me that led to me starting many businesses over the years. As we grew older, he still provided ample common sense tips for us, presented in his own way that was humorous, memorable, and practical at the same time. In Boy Scouts he was there with my Dad, sharing stories and laughs. My childhood wouldn't have been the same without him and his family, and in my adulthood, I'll never forget him. I was pulling into my garage last night, and knew exactly when to stop when my windshield hit the tennis ball hanging from the ceiling, and it hit me - I learned that from Bill. I will miss him, but he will stay with us in so many ways.

It was our pleasure to have met Bill through Karen a true friend. We had the great time on our vacation to Hawaii with our friends and even enjoy a game of golf as a four some, one of Bill's game he loved. I (Gloria) want to Offer my Condolences to the whole Kouckoukos family, as I feel as I know all of you though your Mom or Grandma (Karen) and Bill . Most of all Karen, know I'm here for you. May Bill rest in peace.

I remember all the camp outs we went on with the Boy Scouts and watching our sons grow up together. The campfire is out now and you can rest easy knowing our sons grew straight and tall. Watch over us all in our adventures til we join you.
