Dearest Mom S, I will miss your smile and you laugh and your warm welcome whenever I came home. With all my heart, I wish I could be there to tell you how much I love you and I am looking forward to lots of stories to swap when we meet again.

Ellaki mou gliko, kalo taxidi... You were my second Mom, always there with sound advice, a tender hug, a giggle and so much more. You were truly an inspiration to us all with your courage and strength - you defied all odds with your incredible will to not let anything get in your way of living! I will miss you more than I can express but am comforted knowing you're not alone up there and that my Mom, Dad, Paul and so many others will be by your side - all of you watching over all of us... I love you Ellie - you will forever be in my heart and thoughts and in my life... Until we meet again...

With an infectious and unmistakable laugh, I always knew where she was at a party. She was always there for my mom and dad, and they loved her like a sister. I don’t think she had the easiest life, but you would not know it from speaking to her (except when her and my mom and Irene got together to complain about their aches and pains or their kids!) She was always someone I considered family, and she made me feel like it whenever she was around. I know she is in a better place, but the love she shared and the lessons she left behind will live on through her children and beyond. Until we see each other again Θεία, Πολά Αγάπη!
