ROSELLE – Albert J. Canchola, age 90, a US Army and Navy veteran of World War II and Korea. Beloved husband of Virginia (nee Behrens); devoted father of Donna, Sherri, Christine (Alex) Canchola-Guzman and the late James Canchola; fond son-in-law of Bob Hynes; dear brother of Antoinette (Ed) Bandy, Anna (Bob) Nunes, Christine Lopez, Angelo (Janice), Bob (Donna) and the late Steve and Anthony Canchola and Angie Garcia; dear grandfather of Michael, Sean, Jill, Sara, Rachel, Elizabeth and Emma; great-grandfather of three. Funeral Monday, he will lie in state from 9 to 10 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 405 S. Rush, Roselle. Interment Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 3 to 9 p.m. at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (¾ mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle. In lieu of flowers, donations to VFW Post 7539, the USO and Honor Flight Chicago appreciated. For information, 630-889-1700.
