Alice M. Capone, a beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on July 5, 1930, Alice lived a vibrant life that was characterized by her unwavering devotion to family and her zest for life.
Alice was President of Cee Bee Cartage, Inc.
She embodied the essence of grace and strength as a proud mother of four sons: Tony (Loretta), Chris (Martha), James (Karen), and Tim (Michelle). She nurtured them with love, instilling in them the values of hard work, grace, and above all the importance of family.
Alice cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren: Anthony (Laura), Lauren, Philip, Rachal, Maria (Cesar), Albert (Catherine), Ashley (Scott), Renata (David), Elizabeth (John), Caitlin (Brian), Michelle (John), Timmy (Rosario), and Joey. Their presence brought her immense joy, and she loved to engage in good-natured teasing, often sparking laughter that echoed through the homes they gathered in. Beyond her grandchildren, Alice was the proud great-grandmother of 14 great-grandchildren, each holding a special place in her heart.
Alice's interests were as varied as her family was large. She delighted in spending hours lost in her word search books and relished the comforting narratives of Hallmark movies. Additionally, she found immense pleasure in shopping, often dreaming of visiting the mall every day if given the chance. A beloved ritual every day included indulging in her favorite Starbucks Caramel Crunch Frappuccino, a testament to her joyful spirit and vivacious taste.
While her life was vibrant, it was not without its sorrows. Alice now rejoins her late husband, Anthony Capone, in eternal peace. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Fred (Mildred) Vogan and Endre (Judy) Vogan, her sisters, Elsie (Bill) Zamzow and Violet (Bud) Fischer, along with cherished family members, including her daughter-in-law, Carolynn Capone, and her grandson, Philip Capone.
As we gather to commemorate the life of Alice M. Capone, let us reflect on the countless memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends. Visitation will be held on January 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels in Roselle, Illinois. A prayer service will follow immediately, beginning at 1:00 PM.
Alice’s legacy will live on through the generations she has nurtured and the love she imparted. In her vibrant spirit, let us celebrate the life she led, the influence she exerted, and the pure love she generously shared with all around her.
