Angela Sanzi

August 21, 1933 – August 20, 2026, Angela E. Sanzi, 92, originally of Calabria, Italy, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on August 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Angela was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Angelo Sanzi, a loving mother to four daughters and one son, a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, and a treasured friend to many.

Having grown up and worked on a farm in Italy, Angela carried with her a strong work ethic throughout her life. She was incredibly proud to become an American and worked in several factories while raising her children. Angela devoted much of her life to caring for her family. She tailored her children’s clothing, prepared homemade meals, and canned her own sauce every fall. She loved hosting large gatherings for her extended family and filling her home with the people she loved. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting beautiful blankets, dresses, and shawls. Above all else, Angela taught her children that family comes first. That lesson continued through the generations, and her descendants learned that their cousins would become some of their very best friends for life.

After retiring, Angela enjoyed dancing and traveling with her husband, Angelo, and her siblings, creating many cherished memories along the way.

Angela was the loving mother of: Ginetta Jacobsen (Roy), who preceded her in death in 2021; children Clifton, Dennis, and Vanessa; grandchildren Jenesee, Elias, Chase, and Quinn. Theresa Sanzi, who preceded her in death in 2026 (Ed); children Angelo, Carmine, and Matthew; grandchildren Anthony, Violet, Connor, Brando, and Mason. Eldora Beach (Douglas); children Bradley, Neil, Dominick, and Luciana; grandchildren Tyson, who preceded her in death in 2025, Riley, Sierra, Maverick, Marshall, Vincent, Bella, and Kannon. Frank Sanzi (Donna), who preceded her in death in 2026; daughters Jessica and Miranda; grandchildren D.J., Jayceon, Kayden, Jalyssa, Gianna, and Kamari. Luciana Schomer (Timothy); sons Timothy Jr., who preceded her in death in 2011, Thomas, and Ryan.

Angela was also preceded in death by her siblings Luciano, Catherina, and Nunzio. She is survived by her devoted husband of over 70 years, Angelo Sanzi, her sister Maria O’Brien, as well as her surviving children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and many lifelong friends. As God calls Angela home, her family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with the children, grandchildren, and siblings who passed before her. Angela leaves behind a remarkable legacy in the family she built alongside Angelo—a family she loved, cared for, fed, clothed, gathered together, and taught that family always comes first. Her love and traditions will live on through the generations that follow her.
