Angelo C. Sorce MD

Angelo C. Sorce MD, age 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 6, 2025.  He was The Loving Husband of JoAnn (nee Noto); Loving Dad of Pamela Stevens, Dr. Angelo J.(Jacqueline)Sorce and Dr Carla(The Late Chris)Iafigliola; Cherished Grandpa of Lauren(Summer), Angelo N., Nicolas, Anthony, Sofia, Nathan and The Late Nicole;  Dear Son of The Late Michael and Lena Sorce;  Dear Brother of Grace Stella and Loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He was an esteemed orthopaedic surgeon and hand specialist known not only for his expertise but for his immense compassion and relentless commitment extending to his patients, community, family, and beyond. He was there to offer advice to those he loved with infinite support, especially at the most pivotal moments. Those who did not know him may have perceived a tough exterior. However, those in his inner circle felt his love and compassion. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures —fishing, fly tying, hunting, flying remote-controlled airplanes—and he cherished food, family, and friendship and years of laughter revisiting many fond memories. A loving grandfather, a playful jokester, and a man fascinated by gadgets. He will be remembered most of all for his unwavering devotion to those he loved, especially for his beloved wife, JoAnn, of 62 years.
