Anita L. Peters

In Loving Memory of Anita Peters

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Anita Peters. Anita was the devoted wife of Jerry Peters, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories. She was a loving and proud mother to Lisa Petramale (Dino) and Gina Tomillo (Tony), who were blessed by her unwavering love, guidance, and support throughout their lives. She was the treasured grandmother of Joey Petramale (Deanna), Mikey Petramale (Alexis), Carley Pontarelli (Emilio), Ashley Tomillo (fiancé, Daniel Ronis), Anna Tomillo, and Abby Tomillo. Nothing brought Anita greater joy than being “Grandma.” She adored her grandchildren and was immensely proud of each of them. Her love continued to grow with the arrival of her precious great-grandchildren, Celine Pontarelli and Enzo Petramale, and she was eagerly awaiting the arrival of Baby Petramale in September, who is already loved and cherished by the entire family.Anita is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Nancy Hoblit (Butch); her brother-in-law, Jim Muccianti; her sister-in-law, Susie Castronova; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathy and Tony Peters; and her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends, all of whom held a special place in her heart.Family meant everything to Anita. She created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Her home was where everyone gathered, especially on Christmas Eve, a tradition that became one of the family’s most treasured memories. Those evenings were filled with delicious food, laughter, stories, hugs, and the joy of being together. She had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcome, loved, and at home.Anita’s kindness, strength, generosity, and caring spirit touched everyone who knew her. She found happiness in taking care of those she loved, celebrating life’s special moments, and creating memories that her family will cherish forever. Her legacy is one of love, compassion, and devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed every day, but her love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.Anita is now reunited in heaven with her beloved parents, Jack and Nancy Castronova; her sister, Francine Muccianti; her brother, Jack Castronova; her brother-in-law, Eric King; and the many cherished family members and loved ones who went before her. While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing they are together again.Though we will miss her beyond words, we will carry her love, her traditions, and the countless beautiful memories she gave us for the rest of our lives.Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
