Ann Marie Catalano, born on September 10, 1936, in Caccamo, Italy, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She was the beloved daughter of John and Rose, whose love and guidance shaped the strong, generous, and devoted woman she became. Ann built a beautiful life with her husband, John Catalano, with whom she shared a loving marriage until his passing on April 16, 2020. Together they raised three children—Fran, Anthony, and Ninfa Michelle—who were the center of her world and her closest companions.
Ann was one of five children and cherished her sisters deeply. They were an integral part of her life, a source of comfort, laughter, and unwavering support. She was not only a mother and grandmother, but also a sister, aunt, cousin, friend and a cherished presence to all who loved her.
Her family continued to grow through her children, grandchildren, and great‑grandchildren. Fran and her husband, Salvatore, blessed her with grandchildren Felicia, Frank, and Salvatore, and great‑grandchildren Antonio, Salvo, Maxen, and Aralyn. Anthony’s children—Jennifer, Kyle, Connor, Keagan, and Anthony—brought her great‑grandchildren Dylan, Cody, Mia, Jax, Mason, Axel, and Zain. Ninfa Michelle added two more grandchildren, Zach and Gianna, who brought Ann immense joy and pride. Each child, grandchild, and great‑grandchild held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Family was the center of Ann’s life. She was the heart of every gathering, the warmth behind every celebration, and the steady presence that made everyone feel at home. Her door was always open, her table always full, and her smile welcomed all who entered. She believed deeply in togetherness, and her home became a place where memories were made and love was abundant.
Ann was known for her extraordinary cooking, especially her arancini, pizza, pasta al forno, and her beloved baked cookies that became a cherished part of family celebrations. She was also a talented hairdresser who formed lasting friendships through her work. Her kindness, patience, and gentle spirit touched everyone she met.
Her strength was remarkable—quiet but powerful, steady but humble. She always put others before herself, offering help, comfort, and love without hesitation. She loved parties, holidays, and any occasion that brought people together. Her laughter, generosity, and joyful spirit filled every room she entered.
Ann leaves behind a family who adored her, a community who cherished her, and a legacy built on kindness, devotion, and the belief that love is best expressed through giving. Her memory will forever be a blessing.
