Anthony D. Scandora

Anthony “Tony” D. Scandora; Beloved husband of Bonnie (nee Wardzinski); Devoted father of Jeanette (Robert) Smith, Julia (Juan) Zamora and Jason (Lisa) Scandora; Loving son of the late Rocco and Nancy; Dear brother of Providence, Dominick, Joseph and the late Mary and Robert; Adored Papi of Michael, Brandan, Margarete, Nora, Marina and Little Buddy Blake. Tony was a “part owner” of Firehouse Pizza in Bensenville, a volunteer fireman for Bensenville and employee of the Illinois Tollway for many years.
After retirement, Tony enjoyed spending quality time with all his grandchildren. Tony was an avid Cubs fan and was able to witness the Cubs win the World Series. In his free time, Tony enjoyed fishing, gambling and enjoyed family times. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Tony’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association- www.alz.org
