Antonio Ramos, age 78, passed away on October 13, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will forever cherish his love
Born on June 6, 1948 in La Barca Jalisco, Mexico. In 1968, he came to the United States in pursuit of the American dream. Years later, he returned to Mexico for his beloved wife, Teresa. They married in 1980 in the United States and built a life together centered on family and hard work.
Antonio worked as a Tool and Die Maker, dedicated himself to his craft and loved ones. While Teresa devoted herself to raising their children and caring for their home, Antonio made sure his family had what they needed. He believed in hard work and responsibility. His sacrifices helped build a home filled with love, where family always came first.
Antonio was an honorable, hardworking, and stubborn man who stood firm in his ways. He had a strong spirit and a generous heart, and those who knew him understood that beneath his tough exterior. He showed his love through his actions, his sacrifices, and his willingness to open his home and lend a helping hand whenever someone needed it.
His home was always a place where people were welcome. Family, friends, his children's friends, and loved ones could gather for holidays, celebrations, or simply to spend time together. Antonio found his greatest happiness in having a full house, with noise filling every room and laughter echoing throughout the home. He especially loved watching his grandchildren run around, making a mess and turning the house upside down. And if anyone tried to tell them otherwise, Grandpa would be quick to say, "No, leave them alone." He wanted them to enjoy themselves, make memories, and feel at home. To Antonio, a house full of family was a house full of love.
When he wasn't surrounded by his family, Antonio could often be found working around his home and yard. He enjoyed yard work, climbing trees, and cutting them down, always with his Marlboro Reds close by. He was happiest staying busy, taking care of his home, and doing thing his own way. These everyday moments, which may once have seemed ordinary, will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew him best.
Antonio's life was a testament to the American dream he came to pursue: working hard, building a future, providing for his family, and creating a home where generations could come together. He leaves behind more than the life he worked so hard to build. He leaves behind the values he lived by, the traditions he created, the kindness he extended to others, and the countless memories that will continue to bring his family comfort and laughter.
Antonio is survived by his wife, Teresa, and six of his seven children: Erica, Silvia, Sonia, Jesus, Veronica, and Juan. His oldest son, Raul, proceded him in death in 2019. He also leaves behind his four cherishing grandchildren, Alejandra, Jaden, Ruben Antonio, and Ivan, along with extended family and dear friends whose lives were touched by his generosity and love.
Through his passing leaving an immeasurable emptiness, his presence will forever remain in the family he built and the memories they share. His voice, his stubborn ways, his familiar routines, and laughter of the grandchildren he loved so dearly will live on in the stories told around family gatherings. The house may be quieter without him, but the love he filled it with will never fade.
Antonio will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, grandfather, a harding working provider, and a man who always made room for one more person in his home. His journey, sacrifices, and love shaped the lives of those who knew him. The love, values, and memories he leaves behind will continue to bring his family together for years to come. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
