Barbara Angela “Angie” Toomire (nee Gleich), passed away in the comfort of her home suddenly on Wednesday, September 28th at the age of 83. Beloved wife of 63 years to Keith; Devoted mother of Ken (Barb) and Andy Toomire; Loving daughter of the late John and the late Angela Gleich; Dear sister of the late Marianne (late Jack) Canty and John (Fran) Gleich; Adored grandmother of Matt and Katie Toomire; Dear aunt to several nieces and nephews. In spite of significant challenges introduced to her later in life Angie was a rare jewel that remained steadfast and provided a solid foundation for all that knew her. She was most passionate about her family and many, many friendships she cultivated, nurtured and continued to maintain from as early as her high school years and as recently as friends made after moving into their current community of close neighbors. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, a good game of cards, seeing a good musical, and watching her grandchildren’s various sporting events in their youth. Her love and support for her family was unconditional and Angie will be truly missed by all that knew her well.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 7th from 4:00-8:00pm. There will also be a visitation on Saturday, October 8th at 10:00am with a memorial service beginning at 11:00am.
