Barbara J Sabel (nee Rock), 71 of Hanover Park, Beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025, while vacationing in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Barbara was the devoted wife of the late Edward Sabel, loving mother to her son, Seth Sabel, and daughter-in-law, Amorette. She was the proud grandmother of Grace, Emma, and Hanna Kronfeld. She is also survived by her dear mother, Alice Lowden; her supportive sister, Paulette Czech; and her cherished golden retriever companion, Jace.

A memorial service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St., Roselle, IL 60172 (¾ mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd.).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Barbara’s honor may be made to the  Defenders of Wildlife  ,  International Wolf Center  or  ASPCA  .

Barbara’s warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
