Bernadine June Savage (nee Wagner), Age 86. Beloved wife of the late Robert Savage. Devoted mother of Tara (Kurt) Peters. Loving daughter of the late Anton and Julia Wagner. Dear sister of late Therese (Raymond) Michalski, Patricia (Frank) Kostuj, Marceline (Robert) Seeger, Rita (Walter) Urbaniak, Thomas Wagner and Anton Wagner III. Adored grandma Bunny of Kyle, and Madelyn Peters. Truly beloved aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt of many.
Bernadine was an avid baker and an excellent cook. She loved trying out new recipes on friends and family and making memories through food. No one ever left her home hungry. Each Christmas, she lovingly shared homemade pumpkin or banana bread and tins of her scrumptious cookies, creating traditions and memories that will be treasured for years to come.
Bernadine also had a remarkable talent for sewing. Throughout the years, she poured her love into handmade gifts, creating Halloween costumes, holiday pillows, baby blankets, and even a beautiful prom dress for her daughter. Every stitch reflected the care and devotion she had for her family.
She enjoyed spending time with friends, watching America's Test Kitchen, and searching for the best grocery bargains. She found happiness in life's simple pleasures and had a gift for making everyday moments special.
Above all, Bernadine's greatest joy was her family, especially her beloved daughter Tara and grandchildren, Kyle and Madelyn, who brought endless happiness to her life.
She loved Jesus deeply and had an unwavering faith in the power of prayer. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, strength, kindness, and generosity. Her beautiful spirit and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bernadine's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
