Bernice M. Vespo

Bernice M. Cannizzaro Martinico Vespo, passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 97. Born on August 27, 1928, Bernice lived a life rich in love, laughter, and cherished memories.

A passionate dancer, she brought joy and rhythm to those around her, embodying a spirit that was infectious and uplifting. As the years passed, her love for dance remained a testament to her lively character and zest for life.

Bernice leaves behind a devoted family who will carry forward her legacy. She is survived by her children, Garrett (Carol) Vespo, Dorothy (Roger) Tenney, and Frank M. (Carol) Vespo. Her enduring spirit lives on through her grandchildren, Garrett, Carrie Ann, Joseph, Dale, David, Corrin, Brian, Alan, as well as her many great and great-great-grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Thomas, and numerous nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her warmth and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Frank Vespo, and her parents, Dorothy and Joseph Martinico, as well as Samuel and Angelina Cannizzaro. Bernice was also preceded in death by her siblings, Carmella, Jennie, Phillip, Theresa, and Victor, who she loved dearly.

As we remember Bernice M. Cannizzaro Martinico Vespo, we celebrate not just the woman she was, but the family she nurtured and the legacy of love she leaves behind. She will be missed dearly but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
