Bess Mascari

Bess Mascari, nee Notaro, age 97 passed away peacefully on March 5,
2017. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Mascari. Loving mother of Mary
Ellen (Anthony) Kozich, Joseph (Patricia) Mascari, Reverend Michael
Mascari O.P., and Charles (Kristen) Mascari. Cherished grandmother of
Jeffrey (Adriana), John (Leigh), Carol (Eric), Peter, Daniel, Jason,
Joseph (Amy), and Christine (Samuel). Proud great-grandmother of 10.
Devoted sister-in-law to Virginia Notaro and sister to the late
Josephine, Anne, Charles, and Ross. Fond aunt to many nieces and
nephews. Her family both immediate and extended always came first and
were at the center of her life. In addition she had a wide circle of
friends whom she loved and who also loved her. Visitation Saturday,
March 11 at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1530 Jackson Ave., River Forest
at 9:30 AM. Mass following at 10:30 AM. Interment Queen of Heaven
Cemetery, Hillside. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dominican
Friars, 1910 S. Ashland Ave., Chicago, IL. 60608 would be greatly
