Bruno Dobrilla

Bruno Dobrilla, 86 of Addison, Illinois entered into eternal rest on October 15, 2026 in the presence of the love of those closest to him. Bruno’s life journey began in Trieste, Italy and later brought him to Chicago with his brave parents and beloved siblings Mario and Renee. He worked his way up the ladder at Jewel, and met the love of his life, Joanne. After serving his new country, he and Joanne raised their two sons Michael and David, and together helped to build a large, tight knit and loving family.

Bruno loved golfing, playing poker, following the financial markets, fishing, time with his dogs and most of all, being with his family. He will be remembered for so many things, but most notably for the love he gave, the laughter shared from the stories he told, and his ability to aptly apply Seinfeld quotes to almost any situation.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joanne; sons Michael and David (Angela); granddaughter Guiliana, brother Mario, sister Renee, and a beautiful extended family of nieces, nephews, and members of the Seitz family who were very dear to him.

He is reunited with his parents, Mario and Anita Dobrilla, as well as his treasured sister-in-law and brothers-in-law.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or Almost Home Foundation at www.almosthomefoundation.org in Bruno's Memory.
