Carmen J. Spinelli Sr.

Carmen J. Spinelli Sr. passed away on October 27, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on December 22, 1940, he will be remembered with love by those who knew him and by the family who shared in his life.

Carmen found enjoyment in the simple pleasures that brought people together. He loved attending car shows, enjoyed snowmobiling, and had a special fondness for dogs. When he is not out with his friends or going out to eat, he was at home working on his cars and keeping busy building and fixing things. These interests reflected a spirit that appreciated activity, companionship, and the moments that make life memorable.

He is survived by his daughter, Vicki (Skip Marker) Spinelli; his son, Carmen Jr. (Belle) Spinelli; his sister, Jean (Joe) Rizzi; and his grandchildren, Carmie and Luca. He was a proud uncle, cousin and friend to many. He leaves behind a family and his beloved dog Bella who will carry his memory forward with affection and gratitude, cherishing the time they shared with him.

Carmen was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Angeline Spinelli.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W Lake St, Roselle, Illinois 60172. A chapel service will take place that evening at 6:30 p.m. at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels.
