Cecilia Mabaling Vallejera (1938 – 2025)
Cecilia Mabaling Vallejera, beloved mother to 3 children, age 86 of Hanover Park, passed away on the 2nd of May, 2025 leaving a huge hole in many hearts.
Cecilia was a devoted mother to Rico and Jennifer Vallejera, Eric Vallejera and Dennis Jarrard, and Yvette and Anders Bjork. She took special joy in her 5 grandchildren – Amanda, Rico III and Sophia Vallejera and Stella and Siri Bjork. Her love for her family, friends, grand-dogs and plants will be dearly missed.
The visitation will be held at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapel, 450 West Lake Street, Roselle, IL on Friday, May 16th from 2 pm to 8 pm. The service will be held at Salerno’s on Saturday, May 17th at 9:45 am followed by a procession to her final burial site – Lakewood Memorial Park – where she will get to join her beloved husband, Rico.
Donations to Anderson Humane at www. ahconnects.org in South Elgin are appreciated in lieu of flowers.
