Charles Dean Washer. Beloved husband of Dorothy Louise Washer. Devoted father of Charles A. (Denise) Washer, Mark E. (Louise) Washer, Linda M. (John) Zankowski and William S. (Sandi) Washer. Cherished grandfather of Chad washer, Samantha Cellini, Christopher Zankowski, Michael Washer, Jessica Keltz, Brian Zankowski, Christina Mikolajczak, Adam Zankowski, Kyle Zankowski, Eric Zankowski and Emilie Washer. Great grandfather of 16. Dear brother of Margaret Washer.
Charlie loved his family and spending time with them. He loved entertaining, wine, margaritas, and anything to do with planes, trains, automobiles, and sports. In 1964 he was appointed to the Zoning Board of Appeals in Addison, Illinois. He later became village trustee and Chairman of the Plan Commission. He worked for the Roy M. Moffitt Company for 42 years starting as a sheet metal worker working his way to President of the company when he retired. He spent a lot of his retirement as part of the Flow Blue Club and looking into his family history. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
