Christine I. Ramirez

Christine I. Ramirez, née Cooper, passed away on October 28, 2026, at the age of 55. Born on October 1, 1971, in Chicago, Christine faced more than two years of breast cancer with strength and determination. She ultimately died of heart failure brought on by complications from a cold.

Christine will be remembered as a positive, funny, caring, helpful, and deeply supportive woman whose presence brought comfort and light to those around her. She was an avid reader who loved shopping, and she also became an advocate for breast cancer patients, offering understanding and encouragement shaped by her own experience. In her professional life, she worked as a Credit and Collections Analyst Manager. She was educated at Lane Tech High School and Triton Community College.

Above all else, Christine was most proud of her wonderful boys. They were the light of her life and one of her greatest joys.

She was survived by her three sons Mason, Merrick, and Dylan. She is also survived by her mother, Dorothy A. Cooper, née Trava; her sister, Lisa Cooper; her brother, William M. Cooper and his wife Nicole. She was preceded in death by her father, William C. Cooper, CFD.

Christine’s memory will live on in the laughter she shared, the care she gave so freely, and the strength she showed to others. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
