Christine Victoria Seminaro- born on December 13th, 1960, a cold winter's night, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 30th, 2026.
Chris was a lifelong resident of Schaumburg, IL. Growing up with her sisters Donica and Andrea she enjoyed dancing (especially tap), and participating in Campfire Girls. She attended Jane Addams Junior High and Schaumburg High School before pursuing an education degree at Illinois State University (which she completed in only three years).
After college, Chris returned to Schaumburg to teach in School District 54. Starting in 1st-3rd grade classrooms, she eventually became an Autism Instructional Coach, working tirelessly to create more positive educational environments, and lives, for students with Autism.
Chris retired in 2016 from the school district, but her determination to better the lives of neurodivergent people young and old did not stop- she continued consulting for the School District, partnering with national organizations (most notably Profectum) to create curriculums, and of course, her continued work with HOTT Productions, the theatre company founded by her and her sister Donica in 1995.
Through HOTT, not only did Chris create intricate, multi-layered productions: she created a space where all, no matter their age, gender, where they are on the neurodivergent spectrum, socio-economic status, etc., were welcomed, celebrated, and accepted. Chris was a person who made the world a better place, and she will certainly be missed as that.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and GeorgiaAnn Seminaro. She is survived by her sisters, Donica and Andrea, and four nephews: Andrew, Dominic, Vincent, and Anthony.
