Debra L. Uttenweiler, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, of Roselle, Illinois, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of April 29, 2026, with her devoted husband by her side. She was 68 years old. Debbie was born on July 22, 1957, in Peoria, Illinois, to William and Melba (Pollitt) Barrick. She attended Peoria Public Schools and graduated from Richwoods High School in 1975. She went onto earn her degree from Bradley University, where she was a proud and active member of Chi Omega sorority — a sisterhood that brought her lifelong friendships she cherished deeply. On March 22, 1996, Debbie married the love of her life, Eric Uttenweiler, beginning a partnership defined by devotion and shared joy. Debbie is survived by her husband, Eric, of Roselle, IL; her daughter, Rachel (Matt) Stoughton, and grandchildren Jake, Ellie, and Jack Stoughton, of Glen Ellyn, IL; her brother-in-law, Lance Uttenweiler of Arizona; and sister-in-law, Teresa Barrick of Wixom, MI. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Nik) Fulbright of Milford, MI; Doug (Mia) Barrick of Grosse Pointe, MI; Blake (Brittney) Barrick of Surprise, AZ; and Morgan Barrick (Aaron Iffrig) of Scottsdale, AZ; as well as great-nieces and nephews Leah and Mallory Fulbright, Riley and Max Barrick, Bryson, Brayden, and Brody Barrick, and Emma, Madison, and Adam Iffrig. She was preceded in death by her mother, Melba Gaul; her father, William Barrick; and her brothers, Greg Barrick and Brent Barrick. Debbie will be remembered for the warmth and love she brought to everyone around her. She leaves behind a family whose lives are forever enriched by her presence.

All funeral services will be held privately.
