Dennis Nicholas Ahrens, 84, passed away on February 27, 2025, in Bloomingdale, Illinois. Born
on August 6, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, Dennis lived a full and meaningful life surrounded by
family and friends.

Dennis is survived by his children, Daniel Ahrens, Lynn Ahrens, and David Ahrens; his
grandchildren, Danielle Lorch, Nicholas Ahrens, Nicole Ahrens, Samantha Ahrens, and Dean
Ahrens; and his great-granddaughter Stella Smith. He was predeceased by his grandson,
Christopher Lorch.

A visitation will be held on March 6, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salerno’s Rosedale
Chapel, located at 450 W. Lake Street in Roselle, Illinois. A funeral service will follow on March
7, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Walter Catholic Church, 130 West Pine Avenue in Roselle.

Dennis will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the impact he had on
those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
