Diane took her last flight on a journey past the stars all the way to the heavenly gardens and into the waiting arms of all her loved ones who passed before her. Where we one day will find her dancing once again to her own beat! She left us suddenly with broken hearts but with precious memories that will last a lifetime.
Diane English passed away October 10, 2026, at the age of 83, born in Chicago, IL on November 7, 1942. Beloved daughter of the late Daniel and LaVerne Altier. Devoted mother of Salvator (Joann) and Anthony English.
Diane was never one to sit still. She was known for her fiery spirit and sharp humor. She lived her life on her own terms and encouraged her grandsons to do the same. A lifelong travel enthusiast, working for TWA for 30 years. Diane believed that the world was meant to be explored, not just admired from books. Whether she was navigating the streets of Rome, camping under the stars, or planning her next tropical getaway, she approached every trip with boundless curiosity and an appetite for adventure. For Diane, a good journey required only 3 things: great company, an open mind and a bit of a spark, which she instilled in both her grandson’s hearts.
Beyond her travels Diane was the undisputed heart and soul of every gathering. She was an exceptions entertainer. She had a love for Dancing and a passion for cooking and trying new and different foods, which inspired her grandson Anthony to become a chef.
Even though she will be missed by us all, she will remain in our hearts forever.
