Dianne Louise Palmer, 81, passed away peacefully on August 19th, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 8, 1945, Dianne was the daughter of the late Warren Zita and the late Helen (Douglas) Zita. She was the beloved wife of the late Menard A. Palmer. Together, they built a beautiful family filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
Dianne was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, godmother, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She was the proud mother of Robert Palmer (Lisa), the late Jay Palmer, Tracy Jensen (Andy), Mark Palmer (Heidi), and Cindy Palmer. She was the adored grandmother of Brian, Ashley, Hannah, Krystin, Taylor, Jay, Justin, Luke, Jake, and Viola, and a cherished great-grandmother to Lucia, Noah, Levi, and Michael “Mikey.” She was the dear sister of James (the late Sharon), Debbie (the late Patrick), Donna (the late Louis), John, and Denise (Leon).
Dianne’s greatest joy was her five children, who were among the greatest loves of her life. But her love didn’t stop there. Her grandchildren held an equally special place in her heart and were truly everything to her. Being a mother and grandmother was not simply a role she cherished—it was one of the greatest gifts of her life. She treasured every moment spent with her family and created a lifetime of memories that will forever be carried in their hearts.
Dianne had a remarkable ability to walk into a room and make it brighter. She was the light that shone in every room, the reason smiles appeared on the faces of those around her, and a true ball of sunshine. Her laughter, personality, and generous spirit made people feel loved, welcomed, and at home. She had a special way of making ordinary moments feel extraordinary and leaving everyone with memories they would carry for a lifetime.
Throughout her life, church was her favorite place to escape and find peace. No matter what was happening in the world around her, she found comfort and serenity in God’s house. Her face would light up and her smile would grow whenever she knew she was going to church. Her faith was a source of comfort and strength throughout her life. Dianne also enjoyed a remarkable career in professional bowling. Her talent, determination, and competitive spirit allowed her to accomplish something truly special. Bowling was an important part of her life and a testament to the passion, strength, and perseverance she brought to everything she did.
Dianne‘s love of music was a beautiful thread woven throughout her entire life. She found joy and fulfillment in singing, making it a rewarding hobby that brought happiness to her and everyone fortunate enough to hear her. Music and dancing were always a big part of who Dianne was, filling her life with energy, joy, and cherished memories. Her passion for music never faded. She continued to sing and find inspiration in music and dancing all the way to the end of her life. Dianne's joyful spirit and love of music were truly inspirational, reminding all who knew her to embrace the things that bring happiness to the heart.
And, of course, those who knew Dianne knew there was one little pleasure that was never far away—a cold Miller Lite and good company. It was simply part of the woman she was: fun-loving, spirited, warm, and always ready to enjoy the moment and share a laugh with the people she loved.
Above all her accomplishments, Dianne’s greatest legacy will always be the love she gave to her family. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, a loving mother, a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, a loving sister, and a friend whose presence made life brighter.
Though she is no longer here to fill a room with her sunshine, her light lives on through all whose life she touched. Her smile, her laughter, her spirit, and her unconditional love will continue to shine through the family she loved more than anything.
Dianne Louise Palmer will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
May she rest in peace and love, now and always.
