Dino Karountzos

Our beloved Konstantinos “Dino” H. Karountzos, age 58 of Roselle, passed away Monday, April 6th 2026.

Loving husband to Heather and father to Bobby and Ashley. Loving son to Harry and Helen Karountzos. Brother to the late Peter Karountzos.

Dino was a first generation of Greek descent born in the village of Roselle and raised in Greece in his early years. Known for being a grand sports fanatic, enjoying his yearly trips to Vegas and his beautiful “Hey Bubba!” and “Hi Honey!’ greetings. A funny, loving and generous man that was always surrounded by family and friends. He co-owned Cousins Pizza Pub for 30 years with his cousin Peter Karountzos working to bring community and friends together always with a wink and a smile.

He will always be remembered as a selfless soul that looked out for others that had always spread unconditional love.

Visitation, Tuesday April 14, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels 450 W. Lake St. Roselle, IL, 60172, and Wednesday morning, requesting everyone to meet at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 893 N. Church Rd. Elmhurst, IL. 60172 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral service 10:30 a.m. PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS.. Interment will follow to Arlington Cemetery. Arrangements by NICHOLAS M.
