Donald Lesmeister

Donald Lesmeister, age 96, of Wood Dale, passed away on December 24, 2025.

Born on July 6, 1929 in New Rockford, North Dakota, Don was the beloved son of the late John and Caroline, and devoted husband of the late Marion. Brother of the late Caroline and Dorothy.

A respected businessman, he ran a successful landscaping company for many years. But his life was defined by kindness, patience, and unwavering love for his family, for which his children are forever grateful.

He is survived by his children, Nancy (the late Ronald), John (Nancy), Mark (Susan), Barbara (Gary), Joseph (Mary), and Annette (Antonio), and his grandchildren, David, Michael, Jennifer, Michelle, John, Matthew, Rebecca, Mark, Stephen, Scott, James, Catherine, Grace, Julia, and Diana, along with great-grandchildren Cooper, Aiden, Wyatt, Leonard, Ingrid, Elodie, Emily, Rose, Rowan, and Maeve, and dear brother, Lloyd. He was preceded in death by sons Donald and Robert.

Visitation Wednesday, January 7, from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 Lake St. Roselle, IL 60172. (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd). The funeral will take place Thursday, Beginning with Visitation at 10:30 am at Holy Ghost Church 254 N Wood Dale Rd, Wood Dale, IL., with Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment Bartlett Cemetery.
