Donna Wagner

October 23, 1950 — July 31, 2026

Donna Wagner

A loving mother who’s screeching tires and loud music announced the embarrassing school drop-offs of her children and devoted wife who bundled up for fishing trips with her husband, Donna J. Wagner (Reet) passed on July 31, 2026 after a life lived with passion. Meticulously organized, dedicated to her family and an artist with her words, sarcasm was her paintbrush and she created witty and memorable moments with every comment. Survived by husband, Joseph F. Wagner, Jr, and children Joseph F. Wagner, III and wife Yuri Wagner (Manteca) and Rebecca J. Wagner (Bush) and husband Joseph Bush, her legacy of creativity lives on in her grandchildren Kathryn, Joseph, Daniel and Michael. Sister to Penelope, Suzanne and Thomas (deceased), the kitchens where they all made magical tastes for their families are now a little less crowded yet still overflowing with the scents and memories of every meal.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested consideration of donations to the Alexian Brothers Hospice Residence in memory of Donna. Donations can be made online at https://www.ascensionillinoisfoundation.org/give where the hospice center will need to be selected and dedicated in memory of Donna Wagner.
