Dorothy "Dot" Malesky

Dorothy "Dot" Malesky age 96 of Addison, passed away August 2, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.  She had a good wit to her and carried herself with grace.  Dot believed in family above all else, had a deep and steady faith and somehow made everything feel warm - whether through her words or her cooking and baking(especially chocolate chip cookies!!).  She was a good friend to many, didn't judge, didn't gossip and had a gentle way of keeping everyone grounded.  She loved to laugh, loved to celebrate life and was always ready to party! If she wasn't throwing a party she was ready to attend one.  Dot was the heart of her family and the kind of woman people won't forget.  She was the greatest Mom, the best Gramma and the most incredible Great Gramma! 

Dot was proceeded in death by her first husband The Late James O'Connor and her Beloved Husband The Late Edward Malesky; Loving and proud Mother to Jay(Ewa) O'Connor, Tim(Cindi Williams)O'Connor, Patty(Jeff)Parker, Dan(Kathy)O'Connor, Mike(Nancy)O'Connor, Peggy(J.K.)Scanlan; Caring Stepmother to David(Peggy)Malesky, Karen(Vern)Buzek, Jim(Mimi)Malesky, Janet Malesky, Don(Debbie)Malesky, Ken(Sherry)Malesky and Mary(Phil)Rice; She cherished her role as a Gramma and Great Gramma to many; Loving Daughter of  Vincent and Grace(nee Gonio) Riordan; Dear Sister of The Late Vincent(Ellen)Riordan; kind Aunt, Cousin and friend to many.
