Edgar Munoz Lemus, affectionately known to his friends as Messi and to his brother as Conan, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 2, 2026, at the age of 34. Born on July 22, 1991, Edgar brought joy and laughter into the lives of those around him.
He had a dedicated career as an Engineering/Lab Technician at HYDAC, where he played a vital role in supporting product design, development, and quality testing for hydraulic systems. His professionalism and commitment to excellence were evident in all his work.
Beyond his professional achievements, Edgar cherished spending time with his friends and family. He had a warm personality and a deep love for animals, particularly dogs and cats. His interests included baseball and music, which were integral parts of his life, adding rhythm and excitement to his everyday experiences.
Among the many cherished memories of Edgar, one particularly stands out: his childhood aspiration to be the red Power Ranger for Halloween. After pleading with his parents, he was delighted when they finally purchased the costume. However, when the time came to don the suit, he changed his mind and initially refused to wear it. Yet, in a true testament to his fun-loving spirit, he eventually embraced the moment and wore the costume, much to the amusement of his family and friends.
Edgar is survived by his loving mother, Maria Guadalupe Munoz; father Fernando Munoz; and brothers Humberto Munoz and Jose Munoz. He is preceded in death by his grand father, Jesus Munoz and Eduardo Lemus.
Edgar’s vibrant spirit and infectious smile will be deeply missed. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, as they carry forward the joyful memories created during his time with them.
