Eileen F. Jacques, beloved matriarch and cherished friend, passed away on July 3, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on March 20, 1936, in a family rooted deeply in love and tradition, Eileen was the daughter of Anthony and Frances Esposito. Her early years were shaped by her close-knit family and enduring values, which she would carry with her throughout her life.
Eileen lived a life full of passion, marked by her enthusiasm for the Chicago Blackhawks, a testament to her spirited nature and loyalty to her favorite team. She was known for her enjoyment of slot machines, enchanting cruises, and her dedication to gardening, where she found both joy and tranquility among the blooms. Each hobby unveiled different threads of her vibrant personality, from her spontaneous adventures at the casino to her nurturing touch with plants in her garden.
Eileen's legacy is carried on by her devoted daughters, Marie (Harry) Hayslette and Jeanette Wells, who will forever treasure the invaluable lessons learned and love shared through their cherished memories. She was a proud grandmother to Rebecca (partner, Brian Horn) and late husband Mike Bauer, Andrea (Adam) Fogle, Rachel (Vinnie) Rubino, and Gregory Wells. Each grandchild held a special place in her heart, and Eileen delighted in the time spent creating new memories with them. In the role of great-grandmother, she found immense joy in her great-grandchildren, Zack, Dylan, Min Vin, and Jackson, whose precious laughter and innocence brought her unparalleled happiness.
Eileen's roots in family extended beyond her immediate descendants. She is survived by her siblings, Toni and Dolores, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews, all of whom will remember her loving spirit and nurturing presence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Jacques, whose partnership she treasured deeply. Eileen was also predeceased by her parents and several beloved siblings: Jay, Andrew, Joseph, Marie, Lucille, Anna Marie, Anthony Jr., and Rosalie. Each of these individuals played a significant role in the tapestry of her life and are fondly remembered by those who knew them.
As we reflect on Eileen's life, we celebrate a woman who exemplified love, kindness, and resilience. Her spirit will continue to inspire all those who were lucky enough to know her, leaving behind a legacy that will endure through the generations. She will be missed dearly, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
