Hengels (nee Messina), beloved daughter of Jane (nee Kaercher) and the late Vito Messina; loving mother of Erik (fiancée Katelyn Kos) Vahl, Dana (Joe) Albert, and Camren Hengels; cherished Nana of Madison, Amelia, and Maisie Albert, and Evan Joseph Vahl ; dear sister of Jeffrey (Janice nee Pecoraro) Messina; fond aunt of many. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3:00-9:00 p.m. at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, Sciaraffa Funeral Directors, 450 W. Lake Street (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road) Roselle, 60172. The Funeral will be held on Saturday. Family and friends are invited to meet directly at St. Joseph Church, 4801 Main Street, Downers Grove, 60515 for a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial Private.
