Erlinda “Linda” Jorda passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 22, 2021 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, IL. She was born on May 2, 1951 in the Province of Isabela in the Philippines to Pedro Publico and Ana Aguinaldo Publico. She was one of the oldest of 12 siblings in her family.

Erlinda loved to cook and enjoyed gardening and playing bingo during family gatherings. She worked at Jewel-Osco in Hoffman Estates for 30 years. She had the kindest and purest of hearts who touched many lives with her beautiful smile. She always sacrificed her needs for the good of her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Publico and Ana Aguinaldo Publico; and her siblings Rolando A. Publico, Virgilio A. Publico, and Romeo A. Publico. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jesus Jorda; her children Jason and Jessalyn Jorda; her siblings Marciana A. Publico, Danilo A. Publico, Jimmy A. Publico, Rodolfo A. Publico, Jovy P. Gador, Marilyn P. Villosa, Gina P. Oliquiano, and Ernesto A. Publico; and numerous other family members and friends.
