Federico "Leo" Bautista, a beloved husband, father, and brother, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026. Born on December 1, 1947, Leo’s life was marked by dedication to his family and deep connections with those who knew him.
Leo is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Estrelita Bautista, who stood by his side through all of life’s seasons. Their son, James Bautista, carries forward the warmth and values Leo instilled in their family. Among his siblings, Leo leaves behind Paul, Filomena, and Doming, each of whom shared countless cherished moments with him.
He joins his parents, Apolinario and Gregoria, whose memories and guidance shaped the foundation of his life. Also remembered fondly are his mother-in-law Celerina and father-in-law Miguel, who were pillars in his extended family circle. Leo’s passing reunites him with his beloved siblings Paz, Domingo, Julio, and Apolinario Jr., whose companionship he treasured deeply.
Leo’s memorial services provide an opportunity for all who loved him to gather, reflect, and honor his memory. The interment will take place at Manila Memorial Park in Guiguinto, Bulacan, Philippines, on April 21, 2026, at 4:23 PM, affording family and friends a chance to pay their final respects in a place close to his roots.
For those near and far, a visitation will be held at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels located at 450 W Lake St, Roselle, Illinois, on April 26, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The following day, April 27, at the same chapel, a prayer service will commence at 8:45 AM, followed by a Mass at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Streamwood, Illinois, beginning at 10:00 AM. These gatherings will celebrate Leo’s life and offer comfort to all who mourn his absence.
Federico "Leo" Bautista's enduring legacy is securely preserved in the hearts of his loved ones. His life’s journey, marked by familial devotion, leaves an indelible imprint on all who were privileged to know him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
